I’m living in central Jerusalem, very close the shuk, parks and parliament. I’m about a 20-minute walk to the Western Wall and the Old City.
My apartment is so beautiful – way nicer (and bigger) than my future NYC apartment will be. Instead of using a key to get into the building, I stare at a camera that uses facial recognition to grant me access.
I share my apartment with five other girls from San Francisco, New Jersey, Toronto, Manchester, U.K. and Moscow, Russia. We have a spacious living room and open kitchen, 2.5 baths, and there are four bedrooms. Some of the girls have private rooms but I share my room with Rachel, from Toronto.
I’m so thankful for this apartment. It’s lovely and all of my roommates are super nice.
Plus this view is insane. I don’t think I’ll ever get sick of it. I did yoga on the balcony this morning, admiring the view and weather, and felt so connected to this world I still don’t really know too much about…yet.
